Privacy policy

This policy explains what Libra Logs (libra.exla.ai/logs), a product of Exla ("we"), collects, why, who processes it for us, and how to have it deleted. Questions go to viraat@exla.ai.

What we collect

• Account information. When you sign in with Google we receive your name, email address, and profile picture. When you sign in with an email code we receive your email address. We use these only to create and secure your account and to contact you about it.
• Logs and deploy information you send us. Log lines, trace ids, and deploy markers (service name, commit, pull request, changed files) that your applications and CI send to Libra Logs. We store them to show you search, change pages, and answers.
• Installer runs. When you run npx libra-logs, it reports each step's progress to your account so you can watch the install. Source files leave your machine only if you explicitly approve the AI step; .env files and secrets are never sent.
• Billing. If you upgrade, Stripe collects your payment details. We receive your subscription status and never see your full card number.
• Cookies. A session cookie that keeps you signed in, and a cookie that remembers which workspace you selected. No advertising cookies.

Google user data

Sign in with Google requests only the openid, email, and profile scopes. We use that data solely to sign you in and identify your account. We do not use it for advertising, do not sell it, do not share it with third parties except the service providers below that host our systems, and do not use it to train AI models. Our use of information received from Google APIs adheres to the Google API Services User Data Policy, including the Limited Use requirements.

How we use data

• To run the product: store and query your logs, build change pages, and answer your questions with cited evidence.
• To bill Starter and Pro workspaces their monthly fee, and Pro workspaces for gigabytes ingested beyond the included amount.
• To keep the service secure and fix problems.

We do not sell personal data and do not use your logs or code to train AI models.

Service providers

• Fly.io hosts the API and log storage.
• Vercel hosts the website.
• OpenAI processes log excerpts to write summaries and answer questions, and source files during an install only after you approve it.
• Stripe handles payments.
• Resend delivers sign-in codes by email.
• Google provides Sign in with Google.
• PostHog provides product analytics, used to understand how the product is used.

Retention and deletion

We retain logs for as long as your plan is active, subject to our fair-use policy; you can request deletion at any time. Account information is kept while your account exists. To delete your account and everything in it, email viraat@exla.ai from the address on the account and we will delete it within 30 days.

Changes

If we change this policy we will update this page and the date above, and email account owners about material changes.
